Job Overview

This is a senior finance leadership position where you will oversee the financial function across multiple jurisdictions, playing a pivotal role in shaping commercial strategy, governance, and operational excellence during a high-growth phase.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the annual budgeting process, financial planning cycles, and scenario modeling to support strategic decision-making and investor engagement.
  • Prepare comprehensive board packs and manage statutory filings across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams on pricing strategies, commercial proposals, and contract reviews to ensure sound financial outcomes and risk mitigation.
  • Drive capital raise activities, including the preparation of financial models, due diligence materials, and structured documentation of shareholder activity.
  • Manage tax and regulatory compliance across ANZ and the US, including R&D tax credits, insurance coverage, and risk registers.
  • Oversee core finance operations, including bookkeeping, accounts payable/receivable, payroll, bank reconciliations, and monthly close across the group.
  • Prepare accurate and timely consolidated group financial reports.
  • Build and lead a high-performing finance team, including recruiting, mentoring, and scaling the function to support business growth.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' progressive experience, ideally in high-growth environments.
  • Startup and capital raising experience (Must).
  • Strong financial modeling and planning skills.
  • Advanced Excel and system skills.
  • A self-starter with a process mindset, who can build from the ground up.
  • Enthusiasm for using AI tools to drive efficiency and insight.
Work Environment:

Five days per week in their Sydney CBD office.
