Job Title: Financial Leadership Position

This is a senior leadership role that oversees all financial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, excellent analytical skills and be able to lead a team of professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversight of three other members of the local finance team
  • Management responsibility for all accounting operations including Billing, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger, and Cost Accounting
  • Support month-end and year-end close processes
  • Monthly preparation of management accounts by business division
  • Desk and individual quarterly bonus calculation
  • Oversee the controls functions within the business
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting
  • Manage and comply with local and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings
  • Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting
  • Lead and manage the finance team, providing guidance, development and support
  • Annual taxation returns in conjunction with external tax advisors
  • GST & FBT returns
  • Preparation and payment of superannuation
  • Compile various management information requests as and when required
  • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts, and report variances
  • Liaise with other senior finance staff in other Asia Pacific offices on finance related issues
  • Responsible for the audit in conjunction with the external and internal auditors
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls
  • Research technical accounting issues for compliance
  • Responsible for the delivery and filing of statutory accounts
  • Cashflow projections
