Key Financial Leadership Role:

Overview

The Chief Financial Officer (CFO) plays a vital role in ensuring the financial health and stability of our organisation. This individual will be responsible for overseeing accounting, statutory, and management reporting, as well as financial planning and analysis activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements, including GAAP and IFRS.
  • Partner with senior management to refine financial operations, strengthen internal controls, and uphold compliance.
  • Contribute to strategic financial decision-making, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
  • Analyse and project financial data, providing actionable recommendations for operational and executive decision-making.
  • Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to manage audits and ensure compliance with corporate tax, GST, payroll tax, and other statutory obligations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • Chartered Accountant (CA) designation or equivalent professional qualification is essential.
  • Minimum 5 years of leadership experience, including team management.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems highly advantageous.
  • Experience in financial consolidation will be well regarded.
  • Exposure to multinational environments preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to cultivate partnerships.
  • Skilled in prioritising and delegating tasks for maximum efficiency and effectiveness.
  • High standards of integrity and sound judgment, with ability to make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Exceptional communication skills and proficiency in English.
