Job Opportunity:
The People & Culture Manager is a pivotal role that oversees the Human Resources function, encompassing recruitment, onboarding, performance management, learning and development, employee relations, and compliance. This position champions a culture of inclusivity, wellbeing, and continuous improvement activities such as auditing and risk management across the organisation.
The successful candidate will collaborate with senior leadership and stakeholders to develop and implement people strategies that align with organisational goals. They will support managers and staff through coaching, advice, and innovative HR solutions, driving employee engagement and recognition initiatives. Key responsibilities include ensuring policies and procedures comply with current legislation and reflect best practice, promoting a safe and supportive work environment for all employees.
Additional duties involve creating and overseeing sustainable return-to-work programs, actively coaching leaders and collaborating with health professionals, and leading and managing HRIS (preferably Workday). The ideal candidate possesses significant experience in HR leadership, preferably within the not-for-profit or community services sectors, along with demonstrated expertise across all human resources activity functions. A deep commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusive workplace practices is essential.
