About Our Opportunity:

We have an outstanding opening for an experienced Senior Planner to join our Planning team on a permanent full-time basis, based in Cairns, Queensland.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary package, including a base salary of $90,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus additional benefits and bonuses.

Job Description:

As a Senior Planner, you will play a key role in reviewing development potential, preparing development applications, and liaising with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities.

You will assist with other allied planning services, including strategic advice, policy review, and approvals, as well as assisting clients to implement approval outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

Reviewing development potential of sites and providing due diligence advicePreparing development applications for a wide variety of development types and locationsLiaising with clients, consultants, and regulatory authorities regarding development and planning issuesAssisting with other allied planning services, including strategic advice, policy review, and approvalsAssisting clients to implement approval outcomes

Requirements:

To succeed in this role, you will need a Bachelor of Planning or equivalent qualifications, minimum 5 years post-qualified experience, and a demonstrated understanding of the Queensland planning system.

You should also possess high-quality writing abilities, ability to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard, and strong commitment to client service, teamwork, and passion to shape planning outcomes.
