About the Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Planner to join our Planning team in Cairns. As an Executive Urban Planner, you will be responsible for reviewing development potential of sites and providing due diligence advice.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Preparing development applications for various development types and locations;
  • Liaising with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities regarding development and planning issues;
  • Assisting with other allied planning services including strategic advice, policy review and allied approvals;
  • Assisting clients to implement approval outcomes.

What We Offer:

A competitive salary package, ranging from $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, plus benefits such as flexible working arrangements, anniversary day off, professional membership reimbursement, paid parental and partner leave, active lifestyle allowance, additional annual leave purchase scheme, and more.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Planning or equivalent qualifications;
  • Demonstrated minimum 5 years post qualified experience in private sector;
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Queensland planning system;
  • High quality writing abilities;
  • Ability to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
