About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Planner to join our Planning team on a permanent full-time basis, based in Cairns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review development potential of sites and provide due diligence advice.
  • Prepare development applications for a wide variety of development types and locations.
  • Liaise with clients, consultants and regulatory authorities regarding development and planning issues.
  • Assist with other allied planning services including strategic advice, policy review and allied approvals.
  • Assist clients to implement approval outcomes.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Planning or equivalent planning qualifications as recognised by the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA).
  • Demonstrated minimum of 5 years post qualified experience (private sector preferred).
  • Demonstrated understanding of the Queensland planning system.
  • High quality writing abilities.
  • Ability to ensure projects are delivered on time and to a high standard.
  • Strong commitment to client service, team work and passion to shape planning outcomes.
