Job Overview

We are seeking a Maintenance Operations Coordinator to coordinate and schedule maintenance activities, optimize performance, and minimize downtime. This role involves developing preventive maintenance plans aligned with contract requirements, timelines, and budgets.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities to achieve optimal results.
  • Develop and manage preventive maintenance plans that align with contractual obligations.
  • Track and manage Work In Progress (WIP) to prevent project delays.
  • Provide detailed WIP reports and highlight potential delivery risks to senior management.
  • Analyze service data to identify performance gaps and implement resolution strategies.
  • Validate and refine job plans for accuracy in scheduling and execution.
  • Lead project management tasks and ensure deliverables meet quality benchmarks.
  • Represent the team at client meetings and address concerns.
  • Foster exceptional customer service standards and communicate effectively with internal and external clients.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Trade certification or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field.
  • Tertiary qualification in building, engineering, or project management (desirable).
  • Current driver's license.

Skill Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar operational or maintenance leadership role within the industrial services sector.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and maintenance management systems.
  • Strong analytical and reporting abilities, especially with performance metrics.
  • Exceptional communication and team coordination skills.
