**Disability Support Position**

We are on a mission to empower individuals with disabilities to achieve their life goals and contribute positively to their communities.

For this role, we seek an individual who is warm, friendly, respectful, and willing to learn. You will work closely with clients, their families, and friends to understand their needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build rapport and collaborate effectively with staff, management, participants, family, and friends to achieve positive outcomes and ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Assist in liaising with family and friends to explore new goals, ambitions, promote, and empower participants to achieve their goals and provide a medium of strong communication.
  • Provide regular and frequent quality support in line with participants' plans, needs, and wants.
  • Enhance participants' skills and personal development by implementing strategies and programs to develop/enhance participant skills.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification (mandatory)
  • Current First Aid level 2 Certificate (mandatory)
  • National Police Check (mandatory)
  • Own vehicle with comprehensive car insurance (preferred but not essential)
  • Manual handling (preferred)
  • Administration of medication (preferred)
  • Current CPR (annual)
  • Current Working with Children's Check (WWCC)
  • Current Australian Drivers License (MUST)
  • Covid 19 Certificate

  • Full-time, part-time, casual position
  • 20-30 hours per week
  • $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
