Job Title: Digital Preservation Technical Analyst

About the Role:

This role provides expert technical advice on preserving digital collections, including legacy and contemporary formats. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing, extracting, migrating, and emulating digital assets using forensic tools, and developing ingest workflows and scripts aligned with library standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyse and extract digital assets from various formats
  • Migrate and emulate digital assets using forensic tools
  • Develop ingest workflows and scripts aligned with library standards
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to refine procedures and document preservation decisions
  • Support staff training and maintain strong stakeholder relationships

Requirements:
