Are you interested in working with other volunteers to engage museum visitors? If so, this role may suit your skills. As a Museum Guide Coordinator, responsibilities include:

  • Collecting volunteer information on availability, skills and interests.
  • Coordinating and producing volunteer rosters for opening days and tours.
  • Liaising with organizations for tour bookings and planning.
The Working with Children and Police Checks are mandatory requirements. Vital Skills: Administration, Office Management, Committee Skills,
Protect and conserve heritage.

Museum Guides work together as a team. Our coordinators help ensure that every visitor has an enjoyable experience. This is a great opportunity to develop administration and communication skills while contributing to the preservation of our cultural heritage.

This position involves some manual data entry and requires strong organizational skills. The ability to communicate effectively with a variety of people is also essential.

Volunteers who succeed in this role have excellent time management and multitasking skills. They must be able to prioritize tasks and maintain accurate records.
