Leadership Role in Employment Law

This is a leadership role where we believe how you lead is as important as what you deliver. As an Associate Director, Employment Law in the APAC Region, you will be responsible for serving as the point of contact for all employment law issues and advising HR leadership on key matters.
Your primary focus will be on proactively addressing employment law issues and policies, staying up-to-date on the latest developments and advising the company accordingly. You will also manage employment litigation and respond to DOL investigations and administrative complaints.
In addition, you will be responsible for managing ad-hoc employment law projects and advising HR and management as appropriate.
Required Skills and Qualifications:- A qualified lawyer admitted to a regional bar with specialized experience in employment law.
- Approx 7+ years of experience in in-house roles or reputable law firms, with experience outside this range also considered if the person demonstrates the appropriate skills, experience, and judgment.
- Fluent spoken and written English, with the ability to read and draft documents/emails in business and legal English and give verbal explanations in English where necessary.
- Experience in counseling human resources professionals at all levels on the full range of employment law issues.
