Healthcare Professional
The role of a Nurse Practitioner involves assessing and managing various patient populations, including medical and surgical cases. They provide direct care, counseling, and teaching to patients in ambulatory, inpatient, operative, and procedural settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including complete histories and physical examinations
- Order, interpret, and evaluate laboratory and diagnostic tests
- Develop appropriate plans of care based on diagnostic findings
- Accurately and timely document patient information
- Perform bedside procedures as necessary
- Prescribe medications according to organizational policies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher required
- Registered Nurse licensure (State License) preferred
- Nurse Practitioner licensure (NP) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) licensure (State License) preferred
- 0-1 year experience as a nurse practitioner preferred
Skills and Abilities:
- Able to take accurate medical histories to assess medical conditions
- Able to maintain quality control standards
- Able to react calmly in emergency situations
- Able to communicate effectively with patients and staff
