Sofitel Darling Harbour is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Food and Beverage Attendant to join our team. As a Dining Ambassador, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional luxury experiences for our guests.

Job Description
  • You will be responsible for undertaking general waiting duties, including taking orders and serving guests with flair and professionalism.
  • As a team member, you will work cohesively to ensure seamless service delivery and maintain high standards of quality and safety.
  • You will be expected to ensure that the outlet is fully stocked at all times and mise en place is at appropriate levels.
  • Our guests expect exceptional service, and it's your responsibility to deliver on this promise by serving items with flair and professionalism.
  • You will be responsible for receiving monies and cashing up of service periods, maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • You will follow and implement all departmental procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs) and checklists to ensure compliance and consistency.

  • You will ensure that all guests are provided with personalised service, and their requests are quickly and efficiently achieved.
  • In line with our Sofitel brand standards, you will demonstrate a 'can-do' attitude, proactively addressing any issues or concerns that may arise.
  • You will perform tasks within a timely manner, prioritising efficiency and productivity while maintaining high standards of quality.
  • You will assist the Outlets Manager with the training and development of all ambassadors, while also maintaining a detailed training log.
  • You will follow up on all guest comments, requests and complaints, informing the Supervisor and Assistant Manager of all such matters.

  • You will be able to work a rotating roster, including weekends and public holidays, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in your schedule.
  • Holding a current RSA certificate is a requirement for this role, ensuring your ability to serve alcohol responsibly.
Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
