We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our team at Lawyers Weekly. As a Director, Legal, you will play a key leadership role in shaping our organization's legal strategy and direction.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert legal advice to senior management and other stakeholders on complex legal matters.
- Develop and implement legal strategies to support the organization's goals and objectives.
- Lead and manage high-profile projects and work programs with strategic, political, and operational significance.
- Manage and develop teams of lawyers and other professionals to achieve business objectives.
- Negotiate, advise, and litigate on a diverse range of high-profile international, trade, investment, regulatory, and domestic law issues.
- Law degree (or equivalent) from a recognized Australian tertiary education provider, or a degree from an overseas tertiary education provider recognized for admission to practice in Australia.
- Entry in the Register of Practitioners of the High Court of Australia or the roll of barristers and solicitors of the Supreme Court of a State or Territory would be desirable.
