About the Role

The ACT Government is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide administrative support to two executives in the Strategic Policy Division. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of the executives' offices and their respective branches.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Branch Manager, Commissioning, Policy and Service Design, and the Executive Branch Manager, Housing and Inclusive Policy.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of policies and programs related to children, young people, and families; multicultural affairs; veterans; seniors; women; housing and homelessness; disability; Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander affairs, and human service system reform.
  • Support the preparation of reports, briefs, and other documents for the executives and their teams.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and travel arrangements for the executives and their teams.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in providing executive-level support in a government or corporate environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and other productivity software.
