Job Description

As a Mine Contracts Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of mine services contracts. Your primary responsibility will be to manage various mine services contracts to achieve operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

The position entails overseeing dayworks and screening activities to reduce costs, coordinating with engineering and survey teams to ensure compliance with design and volumetric requirements, and scheduling and monitoring haulage operations under contract.

You will also be responsible for managing ancillary works such as road construction and land clearing, ensuring timely and cost-effective completion of scopes, and maintaining accurate records for end-of-month reporting and contractor claims.

A strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to QMAG's Safety Health Management System (SHMS) is essential for this role.

">Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Certificate IV or higher in Surface Extraction Operations, Civil Construction, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years' experience in mine operations
  • Demonstrated leadership and contractor management experience
  • Sound knowledge of mine infrastructure, water management, and environmental compliance
