Mine Contracts Coordinator Job Overview

The Mine Contracts Coordinator plays a pivotal role in overseeing all contract-related activities at the Kunwarara mine. This encompasses managing subcontractors, haulage logistics, and stockpile operations to ensure full compliance with contractual requirements while aligning with our broader business strategy and driving low-cost operational outcomes.

This position requires exceptional leadership and team management abilities, effective communication skills, and proven experience in initiating and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will also have effective time management, planning, and prioritization skills, as well as a strong focus on safety, environmental compliance, and adherence to our SHMS.

We are seeking candidates with a Certificate IV or higher in Surface Extraction Operations, Civil Construction, or a related field, and minimum 10 years' experience in mine operations. Demonstrated leadership and contractor management experience are essential, along with sound knowledge of mine infrastructure, water management, and environmental compliance.
