Agile Project Manager Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Agile Project Manager to join our team in Canberra. The successful candidate will work on complex projects within an integrated workforce.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  1. Manage project scope and timeline effectively.
  2. Coordinate sprints, retrospectives, demonstrations, and regular stand-ups with the development team.
  3. Cultivate Agile knowledge among Team members and ensure they adhere to Agile frameworks.
  4. Facilitate communication and effective collaboration among stakeholders and the development team.
  5. Collaborate with product owners to prioritize backlogs and handle new requests efficiently.
  6. Proactively resolve conflicts and remove obstacles that impede progress.
  7. Implement process improvements and facilitate change adoption among the development team.
  8. Ensure timely delivery of high-quality project outcomes at the end of each sprint.
  9. Mentor development teams to enhance their Scrum maturity and overall performance.

Necessary Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience as a Scrum Master or equivalent within an Agile Framework.
  • Leadership skills, including stakeholder management, team leadership, accurate reporting, and clear documentation of Agile Artefacts.
  • Able to utilize Agile principles, adopting an Agile mindset and promoting it among the development team.
  • A proven track record of delivering technology products in large organizations using DevOps or Agile approaches.
  • Scrum Master certifications and experience in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) are highly desirable.
  • Tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Business, or a related field is also highly regarded.
