We seek a highly skilled Agile Project Director to lead cross-functional teams delivering high-quality project outcomes.

About the Role:

The Agile Project Director will drive best practices, maintain project methodology, and ensure effective collaboration between stakeholders, product owners, and delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead development teams on Agile best practices, including Kanban workflows, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, retrospectives, and sprint planning & execution.
  • Maintain and document the Project's Agile methodology for consistency and clarity.
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and stakeholders to effectively groom and prioritise the product backlog.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues proactively, and address them in a timely manner.
  • Communicate and report on project sprints and epic progress to relevant stakeholders.
  • Manage JIRA, ensuring uniform usage across teams and alignment with Agile methodology.
  • Facilitate team ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and backlog grooming sessions.

Requirements and Experience:

  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, etc.).
  • Proven experience working with cross-functional teams, including developers, testers, and product owners.
  • Demonstrated experience leading Agile projects in fast-paced environments.
  • Hands-on experience using, managing, and configuring Agile tools like JIRA.
  • ICT-related qualifications are preferred.
  • Agile qualifications are essential — Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) preferred.
  • Active NV2 Security Clearance is mandatory.
