Key Responsibilities- Assist the Head Chef in implementing menu and function packages, ensuring seamless execution and exceptional quality.
- Manage kitchen operations in the absence of the Head Chef, maintaining high standards of food safety and quality.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef to drive innovation, technique, and procedure improvements, aligning with the Adelaide Oval vision and success.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior chefs, fostering a culture of excellence and teamwork.
- Work closely with the Front of House team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Ensure adherence to Food Safety plans and HACCP practices, maintaining a clean and safe working environment.
- Trade-qualified Chef with previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to train and positively engage with staff.
- Ability to maintain high workloads and meet deadlines, prioritizing tasks and managing time effectively.
- Approachable and welcoming, with a passion for delivering exceptional food and memorable experiences for our guests.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a close-knit team, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive work environment.
