Therapeutic Recovery Community Team Lead

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to join our team at New Roads. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires strong leadership and interpersonal skills.

The successful candidate will provide guidance and support to staff and residents, ensuring a safe and inclusive environment for all. Key responsibilities include:

  • Overseeing the daily functioning of the Therapeutic Community and its residents;
  • Assisting with orientation, training, work direction, and guidance to residence workers;
  • Providing input to residence workers' performance evaluations;
  • Maintaining reports such as statistics, logbooks, and daily activities on residents.

This is a full-time position requiring a minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. A diploma in a related human/social services field is also required.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills;
  • Knowledge of housing agencies and support agencies in the community;
  • Diploma in a related human/social services field;
  • A minimum of two years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Benefits:

  • Vacation is accrued at a rate of 6% or in accordance with your length of service as per the collective agreement (Article 18.1);
  • Eligible for a 100% employer-paid comprehensive benefits plan, including health and dental coverage, after completion of probationary period.
