We are seeking a highly skilled Site Leader to join our team in Cairns.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and be able to oversee daily operations, ensure site safety, and manage project delivery. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.

Safety Compliance
  • Implement site safety systems (IMS) and ensure a safe working environment for all personnel.
  • Comply with WHS regulations and maintain a high standard of quality workmanship.
Project Delivery
  • Manage and coordinate daily on-site operations to achieve successful project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with the project team to ensure timely completion of milestones.
Team Management
  • Assign tasks to tradespeople on site and supervise apprentices.
Communication
  • Maintain regular communication with the construction manager and project manager.
  • Coordinate staff and resource requirements for each project.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry or similar qualification.
  • White Card certification.
  • Proven experience as a Site Supervisor or in a similar construction management role.
  • Knowledge of building codes and relevant legislation.
  • First Aid certification desirable.
  • Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
