The role of the Senior Construction Site Leader is vital in driving the success of our civil construction projects. As a leader, you will play a key part in maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency during all stages of the project.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and coordinate plant, labour, and materials for the project, ensuring efficient planning and implementation of construction systems.
  • Oversee and monitor contractors and suppliers to ensure work meets safety and quality standards.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of OH&S regulations and ensure compliance on-site.
  • Keep detailed records of site activities and progress.
  • Interpret plans and technical drawings to ensure accurate implementation during construction.
  • Communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Manage quality control processes and ensure that all work meets specifications.
  • Coordinate multiple teams across different projects as needed.
  • Solve problems proactively with a focus on innovation and efficiency.

About You:

  • Extensive experience as a Site Supervisor or equivalent, with significant expertise in construction management.
  • Certificate 3 in Civil Construction or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong background in concrete, steel fixing, formwork, and earthworks, with hands-on experience in managing and overseeing construction operations.
  • Ability to plan, manage, and prioritise daily tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
