Agricultural Fabrication Specialist

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Agricultural Fabrication Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining specialized agricultural machinery.

  • Interpreting technical drawings for fabrication and commissioning
  • Fabricating and assembling metal components for harvesters and farm equipment
  • Upgrading and commissioning new equipment in compliance with health and safety standards
  • Performing functional testing on new or modified harvesters
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment
  • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and assisting with inventory management
  • Serving as the first point of contact for workshop staff and contractors

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Metal Fabrication Role
  • Qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, or Mechanical Engineering
  • Experience in commissioning agricultural machinery or heavy equipment is preferred but not essential
  • A self-starter capable of working independently with initiative
