Cobram Estate Olives (CBO) are seeking a Maintenance Fabricator for our LEDA team in Mildura. The role involves working closely with team members to construct, modify, and maintain specialised agricultural machinery.

The Role

The position is based at Cobram Estate's Olive Grove in Mildura, Victoria, reporting to the General Manager of Harvesting Manufacturing.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interpreting technical drawings for fabrication and commissioning.
  • Fabricating and assembling metal components for harvesters and farm machinery.
  • Upgrading and commissioning new equipment in compliance with OH&S standards.
  • Performing functional testing on new or modified harvesters.
  • Conducting routine maintenance and repairs on plant and equipment.
  • Maintaining workshop cleanliness and assisting with inventory management.
  • Serving as the first point of contact for workshop staff and contractors.
Skills & Experience
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a Metal Fabrication Role.
  • Qualification in Metal Fabrication, Welding, or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in commissioning agricultural machinery or heavy equipment is preferred but not essential.
  • A self-starter capable of working independently with initiative.
