Job DescriptionThis is an opportunity to work with one of Australia's leading steel fabrication companies, delivering large-scale infrastructure and engineering projects across the country.
Responsibilities include:
- Programming CNC machines from technical drawings
- Creating efficient programs to minimize waste
- Providing loading and program lists to machine operators
- Assisting in troubleshooting machine faults and program errors
- Supporting data entry and job documentation
- Occasionally operating machines when required
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure smooth operations
- Relevant trade or technical qualifications in CNC/machine programming
- Experience with CNC programming languages and structural materials
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
- Experience in steel fabrication or heavy industry preferred
