TAFE Queensland seeks a highly skilled and experienced Strategic HR Business Partner to provide expert advice and support to managers across the organization.

This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned HR professional to join our team and contribute to the development of best-practice human resource strategies and solutions.

">Key Responsibilities:">
  • ">
  • Provide strategic and operational guidance to staff and management on human resource matters, including policy interpretation and application, certified agreements, awards, directives, and workforce planning.">
  • Manage complex human resource cases, including discipline, complaints, appeals, rehabilitation, and injury management programs.">
  • Analyse and interpret human resource data and reports to inform operational decisions and formulate corrective actions as required.">
  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes, developing role descriptions and providing effective advice and mentoring throughout all phases of recruitment.">
  • Contribute to strategic and operational planning through active participation in committees, networks, and consultation processes with stakeholders.">
  • Develop and deliver training programs on topics such as Inductions, Code of Conduct, Recruitment and Selection, Workplace Health and Safety, and general human resource management.">
  • Manage human resource projects to deliver high-quality solutions and customer outcomes.">
  • Support work health and safety initiatives through collaboration with the Work Health and Safety Advisor.">
  • Maintain awareness of commercial aspects of TAFE, including financial and business performance.">
  • Engage with industry, business, and the community through active networking and collaboration.">

">Required Skills and Qualifications:">
  • ">
  • Proven experience in HR business partnering, preferably in a similar industry or sector.">
  • Strong knowledge of human resource principles, laws, and regulations.">
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.">
  • Ability to build strong relationships with managers and staff at all levels.">
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills.">
  • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.">
