About the Role

This is a fantastic chance to develop your skills and advance your career in retail management, focusing on lighting sales. As an Assistant Manager In Training at Beacon Lighting, you will work closely with our team to drive sales growth, provide exceptional customer service, and maintain a high level of store presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in and complete our comprehensive management development training program
  • Drive incremental sales improvements across all sales channels, including retail, trade, and design
  • Deliver expert professional customer service to our retail and trade customers
  • Promote and expand our Trade Loyalty Program and Trade accounts
  • Develop strong product knowledge to assist customers in making informed purchasing decisions
  • Achieve and exceed personal sales targets
  • Contribute to maintaining a visually appealing store through effective merchandising and general housekeeping
  • Induct new team members and provide support to colleagues as needed
About You

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

  • At least 2 years' experience in a retail or service environment
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to motivate and lead a team
  • An energetic and enthusiastic approach to all aspects of the job, with a willingness to learn and grow
  • A strong attention to detail, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
  • A current driver's license
