Job Description

As a skilled workforce planner, you will play a pivotal role in managing rosters and schedules for our facility. Your responsibilities will include developing strategic workforce plans, ensuring optimal staff availability, and overseeing leave planning to meet the operational needs of our care services.

Key tasks include:

  • Developing and maintaining accurate rosters to optimize operational efficiency and meet care requirements.
  • Preparing and releasing fortnightly rosters that adhere to enterprise agreements and comply with relevant regulations.
  • Managing roster budgets to ensure effective cost management, including consideration of occupancy and care minutes.
  • Collaborating with Facility Managers to ensure cost-effective roster management, including strategies for minimizing overtime and agency use.
  • Coordinating shift replacements for employees on sick, annual, and long service leave.
  • Supporting Facility Managers in effective leave management and planning.
  • Maintaining time and attendance systems and employee timesheets on a daily basis.
  • Conducting accurate employee timesheet reconciliations for pay-end processing on a fortnightly basis.
