Job Summary:

The Rostering Specialist will be responsible for managing all aspects of rostering effectively.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Liaising with staff regarding availabilities, changes and/or updates to rosters through clear communication.
  • Publishing rosters accurately, cost effectively and in a timely manner.
  • Assigning shifts to support workers whilst ensuring individual participant's needs are met.
  • Cross-checking data for invoicing and pays.
  • Scheduling additional services, supports, appointments and meetings.
  • Engaging with participants, their families, advocates, practitioners, therapists and other service providers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years' experience in computerised rostering and scheduling services.
  • High level of computer literacy and ability to adapt quickly to rostering software packages.
  • Excellent organisational skills and ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Effective communication and literacy skills with a focus on attention to detail.
