Sustainability Manager, Built Environment

This is an exciting opportunity to join the John Lewis Partnership as a Sustainability Manager, Built Environment. As a key member of the Technical Services Team, you will play a crucial role in driving the Partnership's net-zero goals and ensuring the sustainability of our built environment.
Working closely with project teams and stakeholders, you will be responsible for implementing and evolving the Responsible Property Framework (RPF) to ensure that our assets are designed, built, and operated in a sustainable and net-zero manner. You will also assess and address climate risks across our built environment, monitor and enhance indoor environment quality, and oversee Scope 1, 2, and selected Scope 3 carbon reporting.

Key Responsibilities- Drive the implementation of the RPF to ensure that our assets are designed, built, and operated in a sustainable and net-zero manner.
- Evaluate and address climate risks across our built environment.
- Monitor and enhance indoor environment quality.
- Oversee Scope 1, 2, and selected Scope 3 carbon reporting.
- Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure best-in-class delivery.
- Leverage internal and external expertise to support sustainability plans.
- Degree in sustainability or a related field.
- Business strategy skills.
- Influencing and negotiating skills.
- Communication of complex data to senior stakeholders.
