About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Sustainability Manager, Built Environment to join our team at the John Lewis Partnership. As a key member of our Technical Services Team, you will play a crucial role in driving our net-zero goals and ensuring the sustainability of our built environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement our Responsible Property Framework (RPF) to ensure alignment with our net-zero targets.
  • Assess and address climate risks across our built environment, monitoring and enhancing indoor environment quality.
  • Collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to ensure best-in-class delivery, leveraging internal and external expertise to support sustainability plans.
  • Oversee Scope 1, 2, and selected Scope 3 carbon reporting, managing contracts with carbon consultants for accurate data collation.

Requirements:

  • Degree in sustainability or engineering discipline.
  • Business strategy skills, influencing and negotiating skills, and communication of complex data to senior stakeholders.
