Key to our ongoing success is a highly skilled maintenance team. We are seeking an experienced and proactive Maintenance Officer to join our organisation.

This role will involve conducting regular maintenance on equipment, diagnosing and repairing faults, and ensuring all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner. You will be responsible for responding to breakdowns and minimizing downtime with a positive attitude.

The ideal candidate will be mechanical trade qualified or nearing completion of their apprenticeship, with previous experience as a Maintenance Officer or similar role. Experience with diesel mechanics, automotive or fabrication will be advantageous, as will proven experience in finding mechanical faults.

About this role:

  • Conduct regular maintenance on equipment to ensure it is operating efficiently and effectively
  • Diagnose and repair faults and breakdowns in equipment
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns to minimize downtime
  • Ensure all work is completed in a safe and efficient manner, adhering to all safety regulations and procedures

About you:

  • Mechanical trade qualification or near completion of apprenticeship
  • Previous experience as a Maintenance Officer or similar role
  • Experience with diesel mechanics, automotive or fabrication
  • Proven experience in finding mechanical faults
  • Current drivers' licence
  • Strong communication skills
  • Rights to work in Australia
