Key Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out routine maintenance tasks to ensure the optimal performance of manufacturing and packaging equipment.

Specifically, your duties will include:

  • Performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities on various pieces of equipment to prevent breakdowns and minimize downtime.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of machinery and equipment to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
  • Diagnosing complex technical problems and implementing effective solutions to resolve them in a timely manner.

Additionally, you will be required to:

  • Develop and implement preventative maintenance schedules to ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and serviced.
  • Collaborate with production staff to ensure smooth operation of manufacturing processes and minimize disruptions.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment status.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1-2 years' experience in electrical, electronic, or mechanical trade (or related experience).
  • No specific licenses or certifications are required.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

While not essential, it would be beneficial if you have:

  • Experience with automation controls programming.
  • Knowledge of PLC and VSD systems.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
