Job Title: Underground Mining Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced underground mining specialist to join our operations team. As a key member, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient execution of mining operations at Rosebery Mine in Tasmania.

  • Conduct pre-start safety checks on assigned mining equipment to guarantee operational readiness.
  • Adhere to shift plans to meet operational requirements, focusing on maximizing productivity while minimizing risks.
  • Deliver and pick up equipment as needed to maintain smooth mine operation.
  • Support Jumbo Operators with bolting and meshing activities.
  • Maintain accurate signage according to site standards to ensure a safe working environment.

About You:

  • A commitment to safe work practices is essential.
  • You should be a collaborative team player who supports company values.
  • Prior experience in heavy earth moving equipment operation or underground mining is highly desirable.
  • A manual driver's license and first aid certificate would be beneficial.
