Job Opportunity
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair plant rotating and fixed equipment. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on pumps, mixers, mechanical seals, and other rotating equipment.
- Repair and overhaul plant systems, including pipe and static equipment system maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with team members to address hazards, issues, or faults.
- Document completed tasks and submit reports as required.
Requirements
- Proven experience working as a fitter & turner in a heavy industrial environment.
- Experience with pumps, mixers, mechanical seals, and other rotating equipment is essential.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly, with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in MS Office and CMMS software.
- Familiarity with mechanical seals, shaft laser alignments, and condition monitoring is advantageous.
