Maintenance Fitter
A brand-new opportunity on Brisbane's north side awaits a skilled professional to work with well-maintained machinery in a full-time role.
Duties Include:
- Maintaining a modern manufacturing workshop, including brake presses, guillotines, roll formers and more.
- Assisting in the planning of a structured maintenance program for optimal efficiency.
- Commissioning new plant and equipment to ensure seamless integration.
- Assembling and fitting new parts to maintain machinery integrity.
- Sustaining relationships with various support providers to guarantee smooth operations.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Trade-qualified Mechanical or Maintenance Fitter required.
- Must possess a reliable vehicle and driver's license.
- Prior experience in maintaining industrial plant equipment is essential.
- Familiarity with PLCs or restricted electrical licenses is advantageous but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an effective planned preventative maintenance program.
- Regularly conduct maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment.
- Collaborate with management to ensure efficient operations and continuous improvement.
