Job Title: Infrastructure Maintenance Team Leader

Join our team in a leadership role where you will be responsible for managing and maintaining the upkeep of various park assets.

The successful candidate will lead a small team to complete reactive and planned maintenance tasks, prioritizing workloads and organizing materials and equipment as needed.

  • Lead a team of skilled tradespeople to undertake maintenance on assets in parks such as rockpools, board walks, bush tracks, reserves, sports fields, beach access, playgrounds, and park furniture.
  • Manage WHS and administrative components of works undertaken by the team.

Additional responsibilities include working with other teams and contractors where required, prioritizing workload and maintaining efficient use of resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Lead and motivate a small team to achieve set objectives and maintain high standards of work quality.
  2. Ensure effective communication and collaboration with internal stakeholders, external contractors and community members.
  3. Maintain accurate records and reports to support business operations and planning.
  4. Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency and implement changes as needed.

About You:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and driven individual with experience in landscape construction, building or other trades relevant to open space infrastructure maintenance. A strong background in team management and leadership is essential.

Candidates must possess excellent communication skills, a proactive approach to problem solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality results under pressure.
