**Park Asset Management Opportunity**

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Park Asset Officer to join our team. The successful applicant will be responsible for implementing adopted park asset management plans, policies, and strategies to Council standards.

  • Implement adopted park asset management plans, policies, and strategies to Council standards;
  • Collate and maintain all existing information on parks and reserves recreational infrastructure and all related assets within designated asset databases and GIS systems;
  • Undertake condition surveys and manage the lifecycle of Open Space recreational infrastructure and all related assets as required to assist maintenance planning and renewal;

The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant experience in financial, GIS, or asset management, as well as excellent communication and customer service skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or demonstrated relevant experience in financial, GIS, or asset management;
  • Demonstrated experience in the use and maintenance of asset databases and related GIS systems;
  • Demonstrated competency in financial components of asset management;
  • Strong familiarity with Asset Management Plans and their function;
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both written and oral;
  • Demonstrated customer service skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and to work within a team;
  • Current Class C driver's licence;
