Grounds Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Grounds Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on public spaces, including mowing and pruning lawns, maintaining equipment, and operating machinery.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and take pride in producing high-quality results. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the appearance and functionality of our parks and gardens.

  • Maintain the aesthetic appeal of public spaces by performing regular lawn maintenance, pruning, and trimming plants and trees
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance
  • Clear litter and debris from parks and gardens to maintain cleanliness and safety
  • Operate and maintain gardening and turf maintenance equipment to ensure efficient operations

Key Requirements:

  • A passion for physical work outdoors and a strong commitment to delivering excellent results
  • The ability to work independently or as part of a team, taking pride in your work and striving for excellence
  • Physical fitness and a willingness to learn new skills

Essential Criteria:

  • General schooling to Year 10 or 12 and/or relevant experience in grounds maintenance
  • A valid SafeWork NSW white card (general construction induction card)
  • A current driver's licence
  • Successful completion of ChemUse Certification within six months of commencing employment
