As a Sport Turf Greenkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing sports turf surfaces to ensure they remain lush, healthy, and resilient. Reporting to the Site Manager, this hands-on role involves turf maintenance, implementing sustainable practices, and delivering exceptional results across prestigious landscapes within the Eastern Suburbs.

Responsibilities
  • Perform maintenance tasks such as mowing, weed control, and nutrition management to maintain turf quality and playability.
  • Monitor turf health and address issues like pests, diseases, and compaction using cultural and chemical practices.
  • Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation and pest control.
  • Operate and maintain turf equipment and machinery safely and effectively.
  • Manage turf surfaces for multiple sporting codes, including line marking and irrigation maintenance.
  • Coordinate maintenance schedules with the Site Manager and communicate effectively to ensure high standards of turf care.

About You

You hold a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and have recent hands-on experience in turf management or greenkeeping. Your knowledge of turfgrass species, irrigation, and maintenance is excellent.

Having cricket wicket experience or AQF3 Chemical Accreditation is highly regarded. You are familiar with turf care equipment and machinery, hold a current driver's license, and are willing to obtain a White Card and Working with Children Check.

You possess a mature, confident, and communicative nature, with the ability to provide constructive feedback for process improvements.
