Key Responsibilities and Tasks
  • Participate in an IT support service team to provide a high level of service and issue resolution in line with agreed performance standards.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of standardised processes required for the provision of IT support.
  • Install and maintain systemic management and educational delivery systems in accordance with departmental information standards and policies.
  • Provide expert IT advice and support on hardware and software selection, procurement, installation, and enhancement.
  • Advise on the implementation of departmental information standards and policies.
  • Maintain currency of technical proficiency and skills.
Key Skills and Requirements
  • A detailed working knowledge of Windows 2016 server operating systems and above.
  • A high level of technical knowledge of server hardware and configuration, network switches, end user device and printer support, Windows 11, iPadOS, and macOS.
  • A C class drivers licence is a requirement due to travel between base location and schools on a regular basis.
  • Diploma of Information Technology or equivalent based on ACS skills assessment.
