Job Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled IT professional to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to customers, ensuring that their technical issues are resolved promptly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Service and maintenance of complex hardware and software systems, including network switches, routers, servers, and workstations.
  • Day-to-day servicing, calibrations, and maintenance of security systems hardware and software.
  • Configuration and diagnosis of security head-end systems, EBI/DVM systems, and IP intercoms.
  • Software load and configuration of EBI/DVM systems.
  • Small to medium-sized project installations, including managing subcontractors and estimating materials costs.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction through direct liaison with clients, customers, and service recipients.
  • Development and maintenance of site-specific documentation and quality assurance information.
  • Achievement, measurement, and reporting of performance indicators and site service objectives.
Qualifications and Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience as a Service Technician or equivalent role.
  • Strong understanding of computer networking and IT-related processes.
  • Intermediate verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Security Installer and Consultant Licence advantageous.
  • Restricted Electrical license – advantageous.
  • Valid driver's licence.
