Job Title: Site Support Specialist

**About the Role:**

The Field Engineering team is responsible for the delivery of events to key clients and assisting remotely. As a Site Support Specialist, you will be responsible for delivering successful events by working with the engineering team.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Work together with the engineering team to deliver successful events.
  • Create connections with venue management and employees.
  • Drive escalations, projects and improve service delivery efficiency.
  • Successfully collaborate with teams to deliver events.
  • Install, support and maintain telecommunications, software and hardware infrastructure in venues and ticket offices.
  • Collaborate with client managers to meet staff and equipment requirements without exceeding agreement terms.
  • Record comprehensive bug reports for the Field Engineering department.
  • Keep an up-to-date asset register of all facility equipment.
  • Update IT documentation related to event services that will be given out to staff and clients.
  • Assist with QA for new event systems.
  • Provide on-the-job training for temporary employees, volunteers and subcontractors.
  • Contribute to planning the logistics of equipment and couriers economically.
  • Work with temporary employees on-site at events and serve as a point of contact for any ticketing problems.
  • Control the final box office reconciliation as necessary.
  • Handle whole setup, bumping in and out of events for access control and ticket sales.
  • Maintain knowledge base and oversee continuous training.
  • Provide after-hours on call support as part of a rotating roster.
  • Provide IT support to ensure that access control and box office systems work.
  • Offer technical help to company levels and externally.
  • Offer venue assistance including weekend support for both permanent and movable sites and events.
  • SME for overseeing IT requirements at client sites.

**Requirements:**

  • Developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise workload.
  • Proven track record in building relationships with key clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Possession of passion for delivering events and strong awareness of the live entertainment and/or ticketing industry.
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in an IT field or IT work experience.
  • Working knowledge of networking principles and techniques.
  • Practical experience in repairing and maintaining hardware and software.
  • Current driver's licence is essential.
  • Availability to work on weekends and on a rotating roster with the team.
