Event Delivery Specialist

The Event Delivery team plays a key role in preparing and delivering successful events to clients. This includes hands-on setup for IT operations at venues, ensuring effective service and support delivery, as well as acting as the event service relationship point of contact.


This role requires technical skills, as well as internal people and process management expertise, to ensure efficient resolution of service requests and create a proactive environment.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with the Engineering team to deliver successful events by updating hardware and software as needed.
  • Creating connections with venue/event management and employees, both long-term and short-term.
  • Driving escalations, significant occasions, and high-importance projects.
  • Successfully collaborating with interstate teams to boost service delivery efficiency overall.
  • Installing and maintaining the network's telecommunications, software, and hardware infrastructure.

Additionally, this role involves liaising with client managers to ensure all staff and equipment requirements are met without exceeding agreement terms. Recording comprehensive bug and other issue reports for the Event Delivery department is also essential.


The ideal candidate will have highly developed written and verbal communication skills, proven ability to multi-task and prioritize workload, and a passion for delivering events.


Required skills and qualifications include:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in an IT field or IT work experience.
  • Good working knowledge of networking principles and techniques.
  • Practical experience in the repair and maintenance of hardware and software.
