Leading the CSSD Department within the perioperative services area at a private hospital in Sydney presents a unique opportunity for an exceptional professional. Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational management of the CSSD Department, ensuring seamless daily operations and high-quality patient care.
  • Advocacy for quality management systems, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Supporting team members to achieve streamlined operational management, enhancing productivity and efficiency.
  • Meeting relevant standards and best practices consistent with the CSSD specialty area, staying up-to-date with industry developments.
Requirements:
  • Current Registration with AHPRA, demonstrating commitment to professional standards.
  • Minimum 4-5 years' experience working in a senior role within a CSSD environment, showcasing leadership skills.
  • Certificate III or IV in Sterilisation held from an accredited provider, highlighting expertise in sterilisation procedures.
  • Australian Work Rights, ensuring compliance with employment regulations.
  • Sound knowledge of accreditation standards ACHS/AS/NZ 4187 Standards and HICMR, demonstrating understanding of regulatory requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to show leadership and teamwork, driving collaboration and results-oriented outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating effective communication with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, ensuring timely completion of tasks and maintaining high standards.
  • Intermediate computer literacy skills, including MS Office and databases, supporting efficient data management and analysis.
