Job Summary

The State of Queensland is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Regional Services Manager. This position will lead business support services for Sentence Management Services, ensuring the effective delivery of human resource management, financial management, and logistical services to meet performance objectives.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead and manage strategies and systems to ensure continuous improvement of the capacity and capability of the region to meet performance objectives
* Provide advice, guidance, and coordination on all aspects of human resource functions, including recruitment, employee relations, disciplinary matters, change management, performance management, injury management, organisational culture, and development, and talent engagement
* Develop and implement workforce planning and management strategies that support a performance culture within the region
* Develop and maintain quality assurance systems, including business services metrics to inform continuous improvement of business services across the region
* Administer the workplace health and safety function for Sentence Management Services, including rehabilitation and return to work activities

Requirements

* An understanding of human resources matters
* Ability to oversee the effective management of financial, fleet, and administration support
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
