Strategic Partnership Development Specialist

The Partnership Specialist, Consumer Partnerships role sits within the Commercial team at Velocity Frequent Flyer and reports to the Senior Manager (Product Owner – Everyday Spend).
This position is responsible for driving a plan for growth for designated partners, encompassing relationship management, partner marketing and innovation strategies, end-to-end campaign delivery, and contract negotiations.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies to drive growth and engagement
- Manage relationships with key partners to ensure alignment and mutually beneficial outcomes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives
- Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform partnership development and optimization
- 5+ years of commercial experience in a partnership or consumer loyalty environment
- Proven project management skills to lead new programs of work within partnerships
- Expertise in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with a strong analytical mindset
- Strong understanding of the loyalty environment and ability to develop effective marketing strategies
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
- Data literacy and analytical skills to develop forecasts and business cases
- Cross-functional collaboration and negotiation skills to drive business outcomes
