About the Role

The Partnership Specialist, Consumer Partnerships role sits within the Commercial team at Velocity Frequent Flyer and reports to the Senior Manager (Product Owner – Everyday Spend).

This position is responsible for driving a plan for growth for designated partners, encompassing relationship management, partner marketing and innovation strategies, end-to-end campaign delivery, and contract negotiations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute comprehensive partnership strategies to drive growth and engagement
  • Manage relationships with key partners to ensure alignment and mutually beneficial outcomes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative marketing campaigns and initiatives
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure favorable terms and conditions
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform partnership development and optimization
Requirements
  • 5+ years of commercial experience in a partnership or consumer loyalty environment
  • Proven project management skills to lead new programs of work within partnerships
  • Expertise in planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting with a strong analytical mindset
  • Strong understanding of the loyalty environment and ability to develop effective marketing strategies
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively with multiple stakeholders
  • Data literacy and analytical skills to develop forecasts and business cases
  • Cross-functional collaboration and negotiation skills to drive business outcomes
