Revenue and Pricing Analyst Job DescriptionThis role is responsible for maximising revenue performance on flights operated by the Rex group across the Domestic and Regional Networks. Key responsibilities include analysis of market performance, implementation of Revenue Management and Pricing initiatives, and producing clear and effective performance measurement reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Analysis of market performance to understand changes in demand and adjust inventory accordingly
- Implementation of Revenue Management and Pricing initiatives to improve flight and route performance
- Produce clear and effective performance measurement reports from large volumes of data
- Monitoring and reviewing competitor strategies
- Developing and implementing inventory strategies on assigned markets
- Pricing recommendations on assigned routes to improve revenue performance
- Maximising revenue through daily use of the Revenue Management System
- Proactively communicating market performance to management and relevant stakeholders
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to adapt quickly to changes in a fast-moving business/commercial environment
- Advanced problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication, and teamwork skills
- Time management and organisational abilities
- Well-developed numerical, analytical, and computer skills
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite and advanced skills in Excel
- Previous airline or travel industry experience in a Revenue Management/Pricing/Analytical role and/or a degree in business/finance/commerce would be desirable
Around AUD $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience.
